If 340B eligible site, coordinates the 340b purchasing process through Amerisource Supply Works split purchasing software; responsible for maintaining the accuracy of 340b and GPO accumulators and coordinating the CDM link between Supply Works and Epic.
Coordinates inventory and credits for indigent care patient assistance program doses reimbursed by manufacturer. Maintains ADS IDs between Epic and RxConnect (Robot/Carousel/PacMed software). Maintains accuracy of NDCs purchased between Epic and PassPort/Echo. Manages any vendor recalls for the department and assures compliance with departmental regulatory policies. The position also coordinates the processing of our expired meds with our Reverse Pharmaceutical Distributor. Interviews sales representatives and forwards pertinent information to Site Leader, Director or Clinical Manager.
Education: High School Degree required.
Licensure: N/A
Certification: Current certification with Pharmacy Technician Board.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Pharmacy setting with a working knowledge of inventory management principles and a minimum of 1 year experience with progressive responsibility in Pharmacy Purchasing.
Skills/Other: Excellent telephone manners. Excellent numerical ability. Computer experience required.
