- Ability to read and write in order to maintain records and schedules and review patient orders with entries at a level normally acquired through completion of high school.
- Approximately six months on the job experience and training in order to perform at a proficient level.
- Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and co-workers regarding exams, orders, schedules, etc.
- Analytical skills to compare orders with computer entries and review patient charges.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Current BLS certification
