Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. and Board Certified in a clinical discipline, with a license or ability to gain licensure in the State of Ohio

Five (5) or more years in clinical practice; Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive physician leadership roles including accountability for quality, clinical variation, and physician performance management. Experience in managed care or health plans a plus

Broad based knowledge of population health management and/or clinical quality program development

Demonstrated expertise in driving positive, strategic results related to NCQA, HEDIS, or clinical quality performance measurement and improvement programs

Demonstrated leadership and management skills

Strong orientation toward teamwork, collaboration, shared success and the ability to tolerate uncertainty.

Energized by innovation in a start-up environment

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with proven ability to initiate and cultivate productive collaborative relationships with senior leaders and management, and other clinically integrated networks, physician organizations and health care providers

Ability to organize workload and schedule independently with a proactive orientation

Ability to prioritize and manage a heavy number of functions and responsibilities simultaneously

Ability to prepare and present oral group presentations to large audiences

Willing to travel locally to existing and potential MHC network participant and employer sites, which may be up to 50% of the time or greater, as needed
