Education: BSN required or must obtain within 5 years of hire. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months of hire. RNs with min. 2 years of acute care hospital experience may elect to forgo the BSN requirement and sign a Professional Certification MOU which must be obtained with 3 years of hire.
Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License
Certification: Current CPR required. ACLS certification required within 6 months of entry into the position.
Experience: One year of Med/Surg experience preferred. Groin care management experience preferred.
Skills/Other: Must be willing to work with acutely ill patients, including emergency situations. Works independently as well as functioning as a team member and charge nurse as assigned. Capable of adapting to changing environment. Practice is consistent with Ohio Board of Nursing standards and regulations.
