Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required or must complete within 3 years of hire. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months.
Licensure: Current Ohio State license as a Registered Nurse required.
Certification: Professional level CPR required. PALS certification within 18 months after completion of Pediatric orientation for full-time and part-time and preferred for pool and support staff. Successful completion of an approved Chemotherapy course within 18 months of hire for full-time and part-time and preferred for pool and support staff. Chemotherapy certification is preferred
Experience: Min. 1 year of RN experience is required. If a new grad RN (within the last 12 months) is selected, completion of the Versant RN Residency Program is required unless the candidate has 6 months of RN experience working/practicing in a like setting (acute care to acute care, for example). This program does not apply to anyone who graduated more than 12 months ago. See Versant Residency job posting for additional information/requirements.
Skills/Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English with strong interpersonal skills. Requires critical thinking and prioritization skill
