EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Provide administrative support to the President and Chief Executive Officer in addition to serving as the Executive Office Manager for the Miami Valley Main, South and North administration offices. Interacts with board members, medical staff, all levels of personnel, and members of the community. Requires excellent organizational knowledge, tact, computer skills, confidentiality and independent decision-making. Provides support to the President and CEO, Hospital Executives, Corporate Boards of Directors, including the AHSS and the Main, South and North Board Chairpersons, and Associates, to ensure the Administrative Office operates efficiently and effectively. Responsible for direct management of the Administrative Support Team (AST) including all executive assistants and administrative clerical staff to ensure quality, productivity and performance improvement.
This position requires a high degree of responsibility, judgment, initiative, discretion, and confidentiality. Must possess excellent organizational knowledge, independent decision-making and an understanding of the President and CEO’s methods of operation, in additional to the overall function of Miami Valley Main, South and North practices, policies and procedures. Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks that are varied in nature, necessitating good problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to adjust priorities and to anticipate outcomes. Investigates incoming requests and questions to resolve issues appropriately. Must have a professional demeanor that is perceived as calm, energetic, confidential and decisive. This position interfaces with board members, medical staff, all levels of personnel, and members of the community. Interactions require a high degree of integrity and tact to maintain good public relations and confidentiality.
