Education: High school diploma or GED required
Satisfactory completion of a medical terminology course from an accredited
program within the last 5 years (exceptions: RN, LPN, nursing students who have
completed one clinical rotation).
Experience: If medical terminology class was taken more then 5 years ago, must be able to document current use of medical terminology, OR two years experience as a HUC in an acute care setting.
