HIM SYSTEM OPERATIONS ANALYST
DEPT: HIMS SUPPORT AND AUDIT
Full-Time / 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
The HIM System Operations Analyst is responsible for focusing on analyzing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Health Information Management (HIM) processes. The position will develop and maintain analytics/performance dashboards, use data and analytical tools to identify areas for improvement, implement new workflows, complete audits and workflow documentation with the intent of improving efficiency and/or reducing errors, evaluate and recommend new technologies and vendor services, develop reporting capabilities that will be used to optimize performance and serve as a liaison between DHT and operations in regards to various revenue cycle initiatives.
Education: Minimum level of education required: High School completion/GED
Additional Requirements:
Preferred educational qualifications: Associate degree in Health Information Management Program with credentials of an RHIT or RHIA or presently working toward obtaining their credentials
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Medical Terminology
Experience:
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of job-related experience
Preferred: Leadership in Health Information or related medical field, Knowledge of Word & Excel
