PRN / AS NEEDED FOR THE DEPARTMENT'S NEEDS
8 HOURS PER EVERY TWO WEEKS
The Information Desk Representative provides a welcoming and positive first impression of the Upper Valley Medical Center by providing information about facility services, patient information, visitor information and by directing patients and visitors to the appropriate location. In addition to meeting, greeting and welcoming patients, visitors, medical staff and employees who come to the facility. The Information Representatives will manage any incoming telephone calls regarding basic information about facility services, directions, processing calls to the appropriate location.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
Preferred experience: Experience with physicians, nursing staff, patients and families are highly desirable
Knowledge/Skills
Strong interpersonal skills required with the ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Must exhibit an attitude of caring, insure fairness and concerns for persons of all economic and social levels, races and cultures
Ability to operate in a high stress environment and manage multiple tasks while remaining focused on the overall delivery of service to consumers
