LEAD CERT PHARMACY TECH-AMC

Education: Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED 
Licensure/Certification/Registration:  Certified Pharmacy Technician

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: Hospital Pharmacy Technician Experience :  Preferred experience: hospital pharmacy experience 

Participates as part of the pharmacy team to promote a positive work environment and employee satisfaction by keeping staff informed of relevant information, policies & procedures in a timely basis, providing clear written & oral instructions, listening to staff concerns and ideas, and resolving conflicts.

· Addresses personnel issues as they arise, ensuring staff are held accountable to T&A policies and behavior standards.

· Knows TJC, OSBP, USP 797 & 800 standards and enforces them with staff.

· Monitors and enforces procedures to assure compliance.

· Ensures that technical staff complete all tasks and responsibilities by the end of assigned shift.

· Completes technician staffing schedule and communicates schedule and edits in a timely manner.

· Works with the various colleges/universities to maintain technician practice site.

· Works to improve quality and consistency within the technician staff.

· Ensures an accurate, up to date training manual.
