MANAGER OF APPLICATIONS

DEPARTMENT: DIGITAL HEALTH & TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS PORTFOLIO

FULL TIME / 80 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD

REMOTE work-from-home available. Hybrid working environment. Preferable candidates within 50 miles to Dayton, Ohio.

 

The Application Manager is a key role in the DH&T leadership structure, accountable for resource management and balancing across initiatives, staff recruiting and development, project management and application development.  The Application Manager leads teams spanning numerous application environments supporting a broad range of clinical, operational and back-office functions for Premier Health.  This could include but not be limited to Electronic Medical Records, Revenue Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Enterprise Applications.  This position supervises 10 – 30 professional staff spanning multiple content or technology areas representing approximately $600,000 to $1,800,000 in payroll.  The Application Manager oversees an operating budget ranging from $1- 2 million and capital projects ranging from $25,000 to $10,000,000.  This position interfaces directly with directors, vice-presidents and other leadership of the customer areas that the application environment services. 

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: 

A Bachelor’s Degree in IT with 8 years of Information application experience OR a related Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of IT experience OR an Associate’s Degree in IT with 12 years of IT experience OR a related Associate’s Degree with 14 years of IT experience is required.   

 

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: ​7 - 10  years of job related experience​

Prior specific functional responsibilities: ​IT/Digital Health experience is demonstrated by knowledge of IT/Digital Health application environments and solutions.​

Preferred experience: ​Previous management experience​ and/or industry certifications

Other experience requirements: ​Experience in Microsoft Windows Operating System, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications.​
