MANAGER - RESPIRATORY CARE NICU
The Neonatal ICU Respiratory Care Manager is responsible for respiratory care activities within the neonatal intensive care unit. He/she supports the direction and new program development of the Respiratory Care Department and of the NICU unit through participating and leading growth and change. He/she assures operational and fiscal accountabilities are met. Staff development is a key responsibility.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's Degree

§ Valid Ohio Respiratory Care license, Valid Registered Respiratory credential through the NBRC.
§ Current CPR certification - preferred
Valid Ohio Respiratory Care license, Valid Registered Respiratory credential through NBRC.
Current CPR Certification - preferred
NPR Certification - preferred
Neonatal and Pediatric Specialty Certification - preferred
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3-5 years job related experience3 - 5 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: RTT in a neonatal critical care level III NICURRT in a neonatal critical care Level III NICU
Prior specific functional responsibilities: Neonatal critical level III NICU responsibilities including ventilator management.
Preferred experience: Neonatal intubation
Other experience requirements: Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement initiatives. Interdisciplinary care activities.
