MENTAL HEALTH TECH

Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree                                          

Additional requirements:

• • Type of degree: Associates or Bachelor’s
  • Area of study or major: Mental Health Technology, Psychology, Human Services, Social Work

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.  NVCI certification required within the first 90 days of hire.    

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience

Preferred experience: 1-3 years of job related experience

Knowledge/Skills

• General knowledge of human behaviors, abnormal and developmental psychology.  Must be knowledgeable regarding care of mental health patients and work collaboratively with others.  Must demonstrate competency in listed major duties and responsibilities of job description.
