Mental Health Tech - OneFifteen Addiction Services

Minimum Level of Education Required: Associates Degree

Additional requirements:

• Preferred educational qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in mental health technology, psychology, human services, social work, or related field

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current HealthCare Provider or Professional Rescuer BLS CPR certification.

• Current First Aid training.

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 

• Basic knowledge of psychiatric, medical and addiction related treatments.

Preferred experience:

• Training and/or experience providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services.

• Experience assisting group therapy and skill building sessions.

Other experience requirements: 

Successful completion of one of the following:

1. Nurse’s aide training course (CNA) within the last five years.  

2. Valid STNA           

3. Patient Care Technician/Assistant certification                                                                                

4. Six months Direct Patient Care experience within the last twelve months

5. Experience in an Acute Care setting within the last six months.                                                      

6. Currently enrolled in nursing school and completion of at least one clinical rotation.
