MGR - CLIN NUTR-INPATIENT-MVH

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:        Bachelor’s degree required in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.  A Master of Science degree in Nutrition, Nutritional Biochemistry or equivalent is preferred.

Registration:     Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Verification of registration documented annually.

Licensure:         Current Ohio Licensure with Ohio Board of Dietetics. Verification of licensure documented annually.

Certification:     Specialty certification is encouraged but not required.

Experience:      Five years clinical experience as a dietitian in an acute care setting

Skills/Other:      Must possess effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as technical knowledge in clinical nutrition and education. Fundamental computer skills required. Must possess the ability to speak, read, write and comprehend in English and perform complex mathematical calculations. Counseling and teaching skills required to meet the needs of the population served.
