Summary
Under the general supervision of the Urgent Care Administrator and according to established policies and procedures, the Manager is responsible for all aspects of clinical operations for Urgent Care with key responsibilities include patient experience, personnel management, operational support to clinical faculty and staff, process & work flow evaluations & enhancements, equipment and facilities management, information technology, safety, data reporting, compliance and licensing.
The manager will supervise and develop clinical and administrative personnel including Radiology Techs (RT), RT leads, nurses, medical assistants, front desk personnel, administrative staff. The incumbent will work closely and collaboratively with collaborative physicians, lead physicians, Medical Directors, and various staff from billing, IT, Credentialing and supply chain, and other key stakeholders to optimize clinical operations.
Essential Duties & Functions:
Maintains confidentiality of all information
Complies with all organizational and department Infection Control policies and procedures; including but not limited to: infection control, regulatory, environment of care, compliance
Participates in ongoing Education and Self Development
Complies with attendance and tardiness policy.
- Develops, reviews, and approves goals, objectives, and strategic plans for areas of responsibilities.
 - Demonstrates fiscal accountability, monitors budgets and initiates corrective actions as necessary.
 - Integrates the department’s services with Premier Health network. Initiates/fosters effective collaboration/communication with other departments.
 - Assures adequate staffing. Hires and trains staff to meet the needs of the departments.
 - Evaluates staff performance.
 - Coaches and counsels. Initiates developmental plans and disciplinary actions as needed.
 - Assesses service line needs and makes recommendation to Administration on the refinement/enhancement of current programming.
 - Directs the ongoing programs to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and appropriateness of patient care.
 - Facilitates performance improvement processes.
 - Maintains knowledge of current trends/developments in health care and Urgent Care in order to enhance management expertise through appropriate organizational/educational activities.
 - Develops and implements department policies and procedures to guide the provision of services.
 - Plans, manages, and informs each center’s activities with the advice and recommendation of the administrator and Medical Director for areas of responsibility.
 Actively markets and integrates program’s services into the community
Ensures that assigned functions are in compliance with all applicable local, state, federal and accrediting agency regulations, and initiates corrective actions when necessary
- Maintains a culture of respect, open communication, positive behavior, effective coaching and leadership, acts as a change agent, is visible and accessible to staff, physicians, patients, and client companies.
 - Demonstrates accountability for developing personal professionalism.
 - Demonstrates improving Evidence-Based patient care.
 - Functions as an Advocate by assuring ethical, legal and competent nursing proactive and respect for human rights. Recognizes and provides for ethnic, social and economic differences of patients, peers and other served by Premier Health.

Prior job title or occupational experience: Prior leadership experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills: Strong communication, planning and execution of strategies, a strong ambassador for primary and urgent care.
