NUTRITION ASSOCIATE

We have several jobs available in our Nutrition Department at all our Hospitals: Miami Valley Hospital (Dayton), Miami Valley South (Centerville), Atrium Medical Center (Middletown), Upper Valley Medical Center (Troy) and Good Samaritan Hospital (Dayton).

Positions available are:

Cook/Part & Full Time/Variety of shifts: The cook’s position is responsible to prepare food to support all areas of Nutrition Services. High School Diploma and 1 year experience as a cook required.
Nutrition Service Associate/Part & Full Time/Variety of shifts: The Nutrition Service Associate is responsible for the preparation and service of high quality food to patients and family members. The job responsibilities include communicating with patients, family members, nursing and clinical staff, transporting food and supplies, assembling patient meal trays. High School Diploma and 1 year customer service in food industry.
Nutrition Retail Associate/Part & Full Time/Variety of shifts: The Retail Associate is responsible for the accurate operations of all cash transactions, food and drink production. High School Diploma or GED and 1 year customer service in food industry.
CIR (Central Ingredient Room) Associate/Support/AM Shift: The CIR Associate is responsible for the gathering, preparing, scaling, packaging, and shipping of ingredients. Preparation includes but is not limited to cutting, slicing, & mixing using proper tools and equipment. May include basic food preparation, service, transportation of supplies, and / or sanitation responsibilities. High School Diploma or GED and food production experience.
Sanitation Associate/Part Time/Varied Shift: The Sanitation Associate cleaning/sanitizing of silverware, utensils, pots, pans, equipment, ceilings, walls, floors, etc. This includes, but not limited to such tasks as sweeping/mopping the floor, scrubbing down walls, taking the trash to the dumpsite, disassembling meal trays and placing items in the dish machine for cleaning, cleaning production equipment and changing the grease in fryers. High School Diploma or GED and 1 year customer service experience.
