Position: Patient Care Associate
Department: Pain Clinic
Shift: Monday 7:00 am-2:30 pm, Tuesday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Performing patient intake assessments, including vital signs and medical history
Assisting with pain management treatments under the guidance of physicians and nurses
Providing compassionate support and care to patients and their families
Coordinating with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care plans
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
Educating patients on pain management techniques and lifestyle adjustments

Education: You'll need a high school diploma or GED.
Training: Before you start, you'll need to get a BLS CPR certificate. They can teach you how to do CPR at your orientation too, so you don't need to do it beforehand.
Experience: No previous job experience is required, but you should have one of the following:
- Finished STNA, CNA, or Patient Care Technician/Assistant training.
- Helped care for patients in the past 5 years (like taking their temperature, bathing them, or helping them use the restroom)
- Currently in nursing school and finished one clinical rotation.
Other Skills:
- You can handle doing many things simultaneously, even when people interrupt you, and still be nice.
- You know how to use a computer a little.
- You're good at organizing things.
- You can talk and listen well to others.
- Bonus points: You've worked in a healthcare before.
