PATIENT CARE TECH/ MVHS OPERATING ROOM/ PRN DAYS 7A-3:30P

Education Required: High School completion / GED
  
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current HealthCare Provider or Professional Rescuer BLS CPR certification required prior to completion of orientation.

Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
Preferred experience: Medical terminology.

Other experience requirements:
Successful completion of one of the following:
1. Nurse’s aide training course (CNA) within the last five years.
2. Valid STNA
3. Patient Care Technician/Assistant certification
4. Six months Direct Patient Care experience within the last twelve months
5. Experience in an Acute Care setting within the last six months.
6. Currently enrolled in nursing school and completion of at least one clinical rotation.

Knowledge/Skills
