PATIENT STATUS ANALYST

Education: BSN required.

Licensure: Registered Nurse with valid Ohio license

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience within the last 10 years preferred
Experience with utilization management and case management required
Expertise in performance improvement process required
Knowledge of InterQual ISD-A and Milliman & Robertson Guidelines required
Knowledge of charging, hospital reimbursement, third party billing, and governmental rules and regulations preferred

Skills/Other: Personal computer skills required, including use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, EPIC, and MedSeries.
Experience in gathering information, monitoring indicators, and facilitating feedback mechanisms is required.
Strong interpersonal skills required
Ability to research, obtain and evaluate information, analyze problems, make appropriate recommendations, and evaluate outcomes required
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills required
Assertive communication skills required
