Qualifications
Education
- Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
Additional requirements:
- Type of degree: Pharmacy
- Area of study or major: Pharmacy
- Preferred educational qualifications: PharmD and Pharmacy Residency preferred
- Position specific testing requirement: N/A
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Ohio pharmacist licensure in good standing or eligible for licensure with the State of Ohio.
- Board Certified in practice area or Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) or Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACPS).
Experience
- Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience
- Prior job title or occupational experience: Hospital, Ambulatory Care, or Specialty Pharmacy Pharmacist
- Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A
- Preferred experience: Residency trained and/or board certified or specialty pharmacy experience
- Other experience requirements: N/A
Knowledge/Skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and PC applications is required.
- The ability to assimilate and effectively utilize a broad range of pharmaceutical and medical data, procedures, and terminology is required.
- The ability to organize and supervise pharmacy operations and associated personnel is a necessity with minimal direction.
- The incumbent must demonstrate evidence of skill in pharmacy operations.
- The ability to act as a liaison between professional and nonprofessional personnel is required.
