- Full-Time - 40 Hours per Week
Under the general supervision of the department Supervisor in Rehabilitation Services and according to established policies and procedures, the Staff Physical Therapist will:
- conduct patient initial evaluation, reassessments, and discharge summary for all populations served; administer patient treatment based upon evaluation and/or reassessment; complete required documentation in a timely fashion;
- maintain productivity at departmental standard; delegate tasks appropriately to personnel
- participate in the case management of patients’/clients’ rehabilitation services
Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapist license for state of Ohio required.
- Requires effective communication skills and the ability to problem solve, plan, and prioritize.
- Displays flexibility.
- Duties require independent judgment and decision-making, and maintenance of confidentiality.
- Demonstrates acceptable work performance by exhibiting a positive and constructive attitude, initiative, dependability, cooperation, and skill in verbal and written expression.
- Abides by the Code of Ethical Conduct as defined by the Code of Ethics by the APTA.
- CPR certification within six months of employment.
