Qualifications
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Graduate from an accredited residency training program from a related field (i.e. Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, etc.)
Additional requirements:

- Type of degree: MD, DO or Other related field
- Area of study or major: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Psychiatry. Physicians who have completed an accredited training program in another field will be considered if they have relevant clinical practice experience.
- Preferred educational qualifications: Successful completion of an Addiction Medicine fellowship, or 2+ years of clinical practice in an addiction medicine practice setting
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board
- Possess and Maintain Suboxone license and certification status DATA X Waiver
- BLS Certified
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1-3 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience:
- Training and experience working with the chemically dependent and dually diagnosed population.
- Training and experience in treating substance use disorders using the current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
Prior specific functional responsibilities: Experience supervising residents and Nurse Practitioners
Preferred experience: Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the management of SUDs or will have completed a fellowship in addiction medicine. Board certified in addiction medicine preferred
