PHYSICIAN RELATIONS MANAGER
General Summary/Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and building new relationships with target physicians and their office staff, earning the business of physicians so that Premier Health becomes their first choice for provider partner. Responsible for developing and coordinating sales and referral activities to achieve volume/revenue goals for Premier Health. Activities should target top admitters, new physicians and those physicians who split their business between this hospital and competing entities. Identify and establish long and short-term strategies relating to hospital service-line objectives, issue resolution, retention of existing business and development of new business. Responsible for identifying opportunities, and communicate issues to appropriate leadership for targeted physicians on staff, and referring physicians. The incumbent will assist with new physician orientation, support service line leadership, assist with coordination of outreach CME opportunities, planning of events, act as a liaison between physician’s and hospital administration.
Knowledge/Skills
- Interact with all levels of hospital from executives and physicians to service-line leadership and managers in the areas of business growth, physician recruitment and retention, and physician satisfaction.
