PRE-ADMIN TEST NURSE
The PAT RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The PAT RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The PAT RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards.
Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN required or must obtain within 5 years of hire. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months of hire. ** RNs with min. 2 years of acute care hospital experience may elect to forgo the BSN requirement and sign a Professional Certification MOU which must be obtained with 3 years of hire.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Valid Ohio RN license
Current AHA BLS certification required at the time of hire
Experience: Min. 3 years of Peri-Anesthesia or Inpatient hospital Med/Surg experience is required. Ambulatory and/or Outpatient Setting, Competency of Phlebotomy and performing 12 Lead EKG’s is preferred,
- Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor
- Basic Computer Knowledge and Experience, including keyboarding, Microsoft Product Application, Smartphone, Downloading Apps, Multifactor Authentication, Agility with learning new technology and applications; i.e. Cisco, etc.
- EPIC EMR Knowledge, Experience, Comfort and Maneuverability
- Strong Organization Skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
