RECOVERY SPEC

POSITION SUMMARY: The Recovery Specialist functions as the provider of community support services. The Recovery Specialist functions to support and guide community care services by developing and working a recovery plan model, including areas of daily functioning, social integration and a plan for a task-ordered day. Services are provided in-home to adults diagnosed with severe mental disability. The Recovery Specialist also assists in the planning and development of outcome-effective recovery services. This position maintains an ongoing working knowledge of the recovery model of care and uses that knowledge to coordinate services. As applicable, Specialist responds to all emergencies and provides assurance of overnight security and safety of the home and residents.
