Type of degree: Bachelor’s Degree
Area of study or major: Human Resources, Business, Management, Organizational Development or a related field
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: Recruiter, Human Resources
Prior specific functional responsibilities: Recruitment or Human Resources
Preferred experience: Taleo, Behavioral interviewing experience preferred. Candidate sourcing and prescreening.
Other experience requirements: HRIS Systems,
Knowledge/Skills
The ability to apply principles, practices, and procedures for recruitment activities.
Ability to research and analyze various types of data/information in order to measure recruitment and retention activities and initiatives.
Knowledge of employment law and other government compliance regulations.
Microsoft Office, Outlook, ATS systems and familiarity with HRIS systems; picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge.
Ability to handle and maintain confidential/sensitive information.
Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues by using judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government law.
Must be able to organize, multi-task and prioritize work; uses time effectively and efficiently; can attend to a broader range of activities.
Must be able to produce clear and succinct written and oral communication in a timely manner.
Solves problems with peers, and is cooperative, collaborative, and a team player.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers, has the ability to act with customers in mind.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills; is effective in a variety of formal presentations; is effective both inside and outside of the organization.
Experience with behavioral interviewing preferred.
