- Education – BSN preferred. If not BSN, must earn withing 3 years of hire and show acceptance in a program within 6 months of hire.
- Requires certification in CPR and CPI.
- Job Experience – 2 years Behavioral Science and 1 year Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Requires a general knowledge of scientific principles of nursing, abnormal psychology, and chemical dependency.
- Strong human relations and interpersonal skills are required.
- Mental status and chemical dependency assessment skills preferred.
