REGISTERED NURSE (RN) / INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
TITLE: Registered Nurse (RN)
FACILITY: Upper Valley Medical Center
UNIT: Intensive Care Unit
HOURS: PRN/Support / 7:00pm-7:30am
Practices professional nursing care in an autonomous manner supported by evidenced-based practice, professional standards of care, and code of ethics. Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social, cultural diversity. The Registered Nurse manages the nursing care in an interdisciplinary manner, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, family, and significant other. Integrates the Collaborative Model of Care with a strong focus on patient centered care into daily practice.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preffered
Licensure: Current Ohio State license as a Registered Nurse required.
Certification: ACLS required within 18 months of hire. CCRN preferred.
Experience: Min. 1 year of acute care RN experience is required.
Skills/Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English with strong interpersonal skills. Requires critical thinking and prioritization skills.
