Registered Nurse (RN) / MVH Float

Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN required or must obtain within 5 years of hire. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months of hire. ** RNs with min. 2 years of acute care hospital experience may elect to forgo the BSN requirement and sign a Professional Certification MOU which must be obtained with 3 years of hire.
Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License
Certification: Current AHA BLS certification required upon hire. ACLS and PALS required or must have within one year form date in position. This must be maintained.
Experience: 2 years of recent Advanced Care RN experience within an in-patient acute care setting required (including vents & drips); critical care RN experience is preferred.
Skills/Other: Attend designated classes as discussed in yearly performance appraisal. If all above requirements are met, may be eligible for float differential.
