Education: Graduation from accredited school of nursing; BSN required or must obtain within 5 years of hire. Proof of enrollment required within 6 months of hire. ** RNs with min. 2 years of acute care hospital experience may elect to forgo the BSN requirement and sign a Professional Certification MOU which must be obtained with 3 years of hire.
Licensure: Current licensure in the state of Ohio.
Certification: Oncology certification preferred. AHA BLS certification required. ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider card (or must obtain within one year).
Experience: Min. 1 year of hospital RN experience required. Experience in inpatient or out-patient oncology preferred.
Skills/Other: Critical thinking skills in delivering individualized patient care. Excellent IV skills and experience with long-term VADs preferred.
