Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
Additional requirements:
- Type of degree: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Area of study or major: Nursing
- Preferred educational qualifications: BSN Preferred; BSN Completion or Professional Certification may be required
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Valid Ohio RN license
- Current CPR certification required at the time of hire.
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1-2 years of nursing or related healthcare experience
Preferred experience:
- Training and experience in treatment for substance use disorders, with age appropriate competency, per the current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).
- Demonstrated knowledge of addiction and psychiatric and medical drugs.
- Familiarity with chemical dependency and/or MAT medications.
