Position Summary
The Clinical Research Center Analytics Team ensures information availability and security while utilizing analytics tools and methods to enhance the value of Premier Health’s data assets. The team supports information needs for regulatory, clinical, quality, enterprise, and financial areas.
The Research Analytics Analyst is a high-level staff member, delivering solutions, as well as leading others in the delivery of solutions that benefit Premier Health. This position is responsible for the delivery of reports, dashboards and other analytical solutions of very high complexity. These solutions are cost-effective, secure, and produce high levels of customer satisfaction. The position allows for the continued development of the employee’s information system knowledge, skills, and business process understanding. The position requires frequent direct interaction with a wide and varied customer base. The ability to effectively influence within the peer group, and throughout the customer base, including with Digital Health and Technology and operational leadership, is necessary.
Essential Duties & Functions:
1. Works independently as well as in a team setting, exhibits the attention to detail and process rigor required to implement the technical solutions expected of the position. Mentors less senior team members.
2. Gathers requirements from stakeholders and leverages these requirements to execute build, test and implementation to meet customer goals.
3. Develops, tests, and implements reporting and analytics solutions that meet departmental objectives within functional areas of responsibility.
4. Creates and executes unit and integration test plans. Collaborates with user base during user acceptance testing.
5. Develops complex ETL routines to populate data repositories.
6. Develops end-user data platforms required for fulfillment of self-service analytics.
7. Executes Project Management Methodology and adherence to all change control policies. Provides project management on medium to large analytics projects.
8. Meets all project deadlines through collaborative work process.
9. Responsible for researching and learning about the use of analytics tools and industry best practices to deliver solutions.
10. Sources data from approved databases.
11. Demonstrates progressive growth in productivity and delivery as capability and capacity develops. Independently using visualization tools and creating end user reports and dashboards.
12. Researches, understands, and promotes Premier Health Digital Health and Techonology policies, procedures and practices, especially related to incident handling and service level agreements

Minimum Level of Education Required:
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 7- 10 years of job-related experience
Prior specific functional responsibilities: Analytics, visualization, and data structures. Three years of experience with a visualization application is preferred, including the development of the analytics presentation layer via reports, metrics, and dashboards, as well as data platform or universe build.
Preferred experience: Business analysis and requirements gathering, knowledge of health care data and data models
