Must obtain a limited permit to perform respiratory care in the State of

Patient education and good listening skills are necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients at all levels of educational experience.

Knowledge of all aspects of Respiratory Care is valuable. Other tasks may be taken on as they are learned and check off by educational program.

Some secretarial skills are helpful, including typing, phone skills and computer literacy with word processing in order to complete reports and other necessary paperwork.

Good communications skills for relating to patients, doctors, nurses, and therapists.

Excellent interpersonal skills required.
