REVENUE CYCLE TRAINING MANAGER
Position: Revenue Cycle Training Manager
Department: PFS ACCESS ADMINISTRATION
Shift: 8am to 5pm
Status: Full Time / 80 Hours every two weeks
Facility: This position will be based out of the Moraine office
The Revenue Cycle Training Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing training initiatives within the organization, ensuring the development and competency of staff in various departments. This role involves conducting quality assurance assessments, implementing training programs, and completing special projects to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees within the revenue cycle.
Essential Duties & Functions:
Quality Assurance:
Oversee training team and monitor their performance, providing feedback, coaching, and accountability within the leadership parameters.
Review, monitor, and document staff performance through regular quality audits.
Assess staff competencies related to their responsibilities, including patient demographic information, insurance verification, customer service, and adherence to organizational policies.
Identify performance deficiencies and make training recommendations based on audit results.
Keep management informed of all quality assurance and training activities through regular reports.
Escalate performance issues to management when necessary.
Training Development and Implementation:
Develop, organize, and implement training programs for new hires, staff development, and ongoing on-the-job training with an emphasis on virtual learning options.
Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, scripts, competency tests, and evaluation rubrics.
Assess staff understanding of training materials and track their improvement.
Document and maintain employee training records to ensure compliance with training requirements.
Analyze performance data and adjust training programs as needed.
Other Duties & Functions:
Special Projects: Oversee and manage special projects assigned by management, ensuring all objectives are met. Create project plans, adhere to timelines, and take ownership of project outcomes. Keep management informed of project status and seek guidance when needed.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GED
Area of study or major: Healthcare/Business/Education
Preferred educational qualifications: Associates/Bachelor’s preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration : HFMA CRCR, Epic certification
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience
Prior specific functional responsibilities: 3-4 years revenue cycle experience
Preferred experience: 1-2 years of leadership experience
