Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
Additional requirements:
Type of degree: Bachelor’s Degree
Area of study or major: Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, Health Information Management or related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: Health care reimbursement, financial analytics, revenue integrity, coding or chargemaster
Other experience requirements: Extensive knowledge various hospital reimbursement methodologies, APC, MS-DRG, APR-DRG, EAPG, case rate, etc.
· Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CMS reimbursement methodologies, and payer policies
· Understanding of hospital revenue cycle processes, operations, and charge capture workflows
· Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
· Experience with Epic reporting, Excel, SQL, dashboards, and data analysis preferred
· Ability to communicate effectively with operational, physician and executive leadership
· Ability to manage multiple projects and operational priorities simultaneously
