RN- Home Care Infusion Nurse (IV-Core)- New pay Rates/Flexible Schedules
Mon-Fri Holiday Rotation/ No Weekends
General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Home Care Infusion Nurse is responsible for the provision and coordination of all components of home care services for the infusion patients. The Home Care Infusion Nurse will provide care as ordered by the physician, follow policies, procedures, infusion protocols, conditions of participation, and regularly report to their supervisor. The incumbent will facilitate the development and implementation of the plan of care as outlined by the physician. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for all required documentation related to the care delivered and will communicate pertinent information regarding the patient to all appropriate health care team members and infusion physicians.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate Degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration
Current Ohio Registered Nurse license in good standing
§ CPR Certification
§ ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate within one year
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1-3 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: Clinical and acute care experience must have occurred within the last year unless employed currently in home care setting.
Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A
Preferred experience: One year of recent infusion experience preferred
Other experience requirements: N/A
Knowledge/Skills
§ If working as a specialist, documentation of the skills and certifications must be provided
§ Must be capable of standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
§ Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision
§ Computer skills preferred
§ Home care experience preferred
§ Infusion experience preferred
