Senior Analytics Developer-Research
General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Senior Analytics Developer-Research is a high-level staff member, delivering solutions, as well as leading others in the delivery of solutions that benefit the Academic and Research capabilities for Premier Health. This position is responsible for the governance and maintenance of data platforms that enable research, and for providing analytical support to clinical research teams as they utilize self-service analytics. This position is also responsible for the delivery of reports and other analytical solutions of very high complexity to our research community. These solutions are cost-effective, secure, and produce high levels of customer satisfaction. The position allows for the continued development of the employee’s information system knowledge, skills, and business process understanding. The position requires frequent direct interaction with a wide and varied customer base that includes Principal Investigators, researchers and clinicians. The ability to effectively influence within the peer group, and throughout the customer base, including with Digital Health & Technology and operational leadership, is necessary.
This position can be 100% out-of-state remote within the continental United States. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
Knowledge/Skills
- Demonstrated ability to utilize technology, SQL coding, and data analysis to solve business problems.
- Familiarity with clinical research methodology and the FDA regulations governing clinical trials, as well as and understanding of appropriate handling of PHI and security.
- Exhibits leadership skills required to drive for results, both self and team members.
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills when interacting with technical staff, management, customers, vendors, other employees, physicians, patients, and visitors.
- Gathers requirements from stakeholders and leverages these requirements to execute build, test and implementation to meet customer goals.

Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
Additional requirements:
- Type of degree: Bachelor’s Degree in IT with 7 years of IT experience or a related Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years of IT experience is required or an Associate Degree with 12 years of IT experience
- Area of study or major: Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine
Licensure/Certification:
- Will attend formal training and become certified in the following Epic Clarity data models within two years of hire:
- Clinical Data Model
- Cosmos Data Model
- Will achieve Epic Cosmos Administration Certification within six months of hire.
