Sr. Cloud Engineer - Architect - AZURE

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 5 - 7  years of job related experience

Prior job title or occupational experience:   Cloud Architect, Enterprise Architect, Data Architect, Azure Cloud Engineer , Cloud Administrator, Product Developer, Solutions Engineer

Prior specific functional responsibilities: 5 years’ experience working in data engineering or architectural roles &+ years preferred. 

Preferred experience: Familiarity with 1 object-oriented programming language, Terraform, building and maintain CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOPs, certified Azure Administrator Associate. Excellent understanding of Azure and its core services (i.e. ADLS, ADF, Blob, Synapse) is needed; Python coding skills are needed; Any combination of Infrastructure knowledge including RESTful APIs, Single Sign On, Azure AD; Microsoft Power Apps, artificial intelligence, machine leaning, Understanding of EHR and/or lab system architecture and data including HL7 and FHIR; 5+ years of software development experience, with knowledge of Agile development process and demonstrated appetite for continual learning, typically manifested in community contributions (e.g., open source work, publishing / speaking on technical ideas); Experience with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications, application security; Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores; Functional expertise in provider platforms and solutions e.g. EHR, imaging, pharmacy, Rx, biomedical devices is nice to have.

Other experience requirements: Ability to concisely and effectively interact with key roles within the Agile team;

Knowledge/Skills

Use Agile engineering practices and various software and web development technologies to rapidly architect creative and efficient solutions that enhance patient, caregiver, and clinician experience. Architect cloud computing, cloud architecture, cloud development, cloud administration, an enterprise data lake and data warehouse, and additional systems to enable advanced use cases. Microsoft cloud and Azure environment preferred. Cloud design and security, Advanced DevOps automation skills such as release/change management, Infrastructure as code, Azure Resource Manager templates; experience with Spark/Hadoop, Databricks, etc.
