General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Supervisor, Independent Care
Services is responsible for supervision of the Independent Care Services and
Safety Sitter personnel and management of patient cases involving those
services. Also participates in education
and competency development of those staff.

direct supervision of Independent Care Services / Safety Sitter staff

Keep
progress notes using the tools and processes established by Fidelity Health
care

Participate
in multidisciplinary process improvement teams as appropriate.

Independent Care Services representation and leadership for

Responsible
for day to day operations of Independent Care Services.

Responsible
for opening Independent Care cases and managing patient cases and payor
sources.

Participates
in marketing and further development of Independent Care Services.

Qualifications
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
Additional requirements:
Type of degree: Associates
Area of study or major: LPN or Business Management
Preferred educational qualifications: Graduate of accredited LPN School or Associates Degree

LPN, STNA or CNA,
CPR Certification
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience

Knowledge/Skills
Minimum of one year supervisory experience, preferred
One year experience in a health care setting (hospital, clinic, rehabilitation center, home care, etc.). Home care aide experience also preferred.
Excellent customer service skills required
Experience with office management skills: customer services, answering phones, filing, etc.
Must be capable of standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50lbs
