SUPV-CLIN THERAPIST LISW/LPCC
Summary
The Clinical Supervisor Therapist functions as a member of a team to assist in the planning, development, and delivery of outcome-effective treatment services in various types of settings. The therapist assesses the patient’s social, emotional, cultural, mental health, and family situation and interprets this information to develop a treatment plan and work with the patient on achieving established goals and objectives.
The therapist is skilled in individual, family, and couple’s therapeutic approaches that can be utilized to assist the patient in achieving established goals. The therapist is able to work independently and collaborate with office physicians and interdisciplinary team members to provide the best continuity of care for the patient.
In addition to providing direct clinical services, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for delivering clinical training and supervision to both dependent and independent therapists. This role provides ongoing oversight, consultation, and professional guidance to therapists and clinical staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, documentation standards, and high-quality patient care. The position also involves planning and delivering on-site and off-site clinical case coordination, intervention, consultation, and educational services to adults and families, as needed.

Licensure/Certification/Registration
· Licensed in the state of Ohio as Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision (LISW-S) or Independently Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Supervision (IMFT-S), Licensed clinical counselor with supervision (LPCC-S)
· Training and experience in the types of services provided by the team for the adult population
· Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorders (DSM- 5 or subsequent revisions)
