Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience

Preferred experience: Experience in fundraising

Other experience requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with donors, prospective donors and Hospital leadership

Knowledge/Skills

Identifiable successful outcomes from concurrently managing multiple programs

Demonstrated results in cultivating, soliciting, securing and stewarding grants.

Previous experience in highly complex environment; demonstrated negotiating skills.

Proven team player.

Superior writing and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge and application of budgeting.

Computer/database literacy; Raiser’s Edge experience, a plus.

Creative, out-of-the box thinker with ability to make decisions

Flexibility with capacity to handle busy multi-pronged work environment

Competence in retaining confidentiality a must
