TEAM LDR-CARDIOPULM REHAB-RRT
The Lead RRT is responsible for the delivery and implementation of Pulmonary Rehabilitation which includes but is not limited to Phase 1, 2, 3 pulmonary rehab, Smoking cessation, pulmonary education and respiratory disease education. Responsible for all activities related to optimal delivery of care to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation patient. Responsible for the development and maintenance of area of expertise. Acts as a resource person for the physician and other members of the health care team. The Lead RRT functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of respiratory care. The Lead RRT coordinates care delivered by the interdisciplinary team across the continuum of care. The Lead RRT collaborates with the Team Lead and Rehab Program Manager to develop the pulmonary rehabilitation program based on most recent research and evidence. This role integrates the components of clinician, educator, and consultant as well as implements and supervises the physical exercise program. The Lead RRT is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Respiratory Care Laws, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration
§ Licensure: Valid Ohio Respiratory Care License
§ Certification: Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential through NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care, Current BLS at time of hire. ACLS within 90 days.
Experience
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Prior specific functional responsibilities: Demonstrated clinical excellence or superior performance in a variety of clinical settings. Effective verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred experience: Leadership experience, Pulmonary rehab patient care
