The Temperature Screening Technician is responsible for reviewing data from a thermal temperature camera (or other device) as it reads temperature of individuals entering the facility.  They then confirm if the person may enter the facility or should they be turned away.   In addition to the thermal reading the Temperature Screening Technician will also ask a series of 4 questions to further verify the person is eligible to enter the facility.  They will then convey a pass or fail to the person based on their temperature and or answers to the questionnaire.  If the person fails, the technician will advise them they are not allowed on site and ask them to contact their management for further instructions. If the person passes, they allow them to proceed in entering the facility. 

Essential Duties & Functions:

Prepares necessary equipment and administers taking temperatures for employee's/ visitors prior to coming to the work environment with contactless thermometers.

Temperature technicians help in maintaining the health and safety of the workplace by temperature screening employee's and visitors as they enter the work environment

Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required for safety.

Education Required: High School completion / GE                                        

Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A

Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
