JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in a Mental Health field.
- Counselor Trainee (CT) licensure status
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with children, parents, and professionals to provide information regarding the children’s needs and strengths and the development of appropriate services.
- Physical abilities required include sufficient mobility, sufficient strength to lift/carry a young child, language skills, ability to utilize emergency physical interventions, and to perform written paperwork (manual or automated)
- Training and experience in the types of services provided by the team, with age appropriate competency, using the Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5 or subsequent revisions).
