Therapy Attendant
- Full-Time: 2 weekend days/Month, flex off during week
General Summary/Responsibilities:
The Therapy Attendant assumes a supportive role on the Rehab care team. Performs clinical duties (such as patient transport and patient transfers) and helps to maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. The position requires self-initiation of projects to meet departmental needs and requires cross training to provide clerical support on an as needed basis. Responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

- Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience

- Basic computer knowledge and skills
Essential Duties & Functions:
- Assists therapy staff with patient care activities such as, transfers, checking on patient readiness for treatment, providing support to ensure patient safety and obtaining and returning equipment.
- Utilizes all necessary equipment for safe transportation of patients.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the environment and all equipment.
- Maintains proper par levels of department supplies.
- Performs clerical duties as assigned.
- Participates in programs/service performance improvement activities.
- Engages in patient satisfaction efforts and looks for opportunities to ensure that all patients have a satisfying experience.
- Passes all required hospital/department competencies and related testing; applies to everyday performance.
