ANALYTICS DEVELOPER

Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree

Additional requirements:

•  Type of degree: Bachelor’s Degree in IT with 5 years of IT experience or a related Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of IT experience is required or an Associate Degree with 10 years of IT experience
• Area of study or major: Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine
• Preferred educational qualifications: N/A
• Position specific testing requirement: N/A

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Will attend formal training and become certified in at least one Epic Clarity data model within 18 months of hire.

Experience

• Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience
• Prior job title or occupational experience: Information technology
• Prior specific functional responsibilities: Analytics, SQL coding, visualization, and data structures. Experience writing intermediate to advanced SQL code is required. Two years of experience with a visualization application is required, including the development of the analytics presentation layer via reports, metrics, and dashboards Or Must have a minimum of two years of development experience with an ETL tool such as Microsoft SSIS
• Preferred experience: Business analysis and requirements gathering, knowledge of health care data and data models
