EPIC SUPPORT SPECIALIST-PPN

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred.
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health care setting; preferably with a clinical
3. background.
4. Strong knowledge of outpatient office operations and workflows required.
5. EMR experience in an ambulatory setting required; Epic preferred.
6. Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Must have the ability to speak confidently in both large and small groups.
8. Ability to problem solve and mediate in a highly complex environment.
9. Self- motivated to achieve the highest level of patient care and patient experience
10. standards.
11. Experience at a training level is preferred.

The Epic Support Specialist must successfully achieve the status of Credentialed Epic Trainer

within their first 90 days with Premier Physician Network. The credentialing process will be

administered through Premier Health Technical Education Services.

Within the first year of employment, the ESS must complete Epic Proficiency in EpiCare

Ambulatory.

The ESS must pass all ongoing required competencies and related testing and/or training, as

assigned.
