Physical Therapist
- Outpatient - Troy, OH
- Part-Time: 20 Hours per week | Two-10 hour days | No Weekends
Under the general supervision of the Rehabilitation Supervisor and in alignment with established policies and procedures, the Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality care across all patient populations served. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting initial evaluations, reassessments, and discharge summaries
- Providing patient-centered treatment based on evaluations and reassessments
- Completing all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining productivity in accordance with departmental standards
- Delegating tasks appropriately to support personnel
- Actively participating in case management of patient care plans
- Performing non-clinical duties that contribute to efficient daily operations
- Participating in one to two departmental, hospital, or community meetings or programs
- Teaching, orienting, training, supervising, and mentoring staff, including new employees, volunteers, observers, and at least one student annually
This role is essential to supporting comprehensive rehabilitation services and fostering a collaborative, educational, and patient-focused environment.
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Ohio.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively problem-solve, plan, and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
- Consistently displays professionalism through a positive attitude, initiative, dependability, and collaboration.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
- Committed to ethical practice, in accordance with the APTA Code of Ethics.
- Current BLS Certification required.
