​​The role of the Senior Recruiter entails:
 
Processing and posting personnel requisitions, candidate identification activities (searching and reviewing resumes), pipeline development, screening and interviewing candidates, consulting with hiring managers, delivering confidential and sensitive messages to candidates, employees and hiring managers, calculating offers, documenting hiring process, generating offers and starting the pre-employment and hiring process, attending and planning/coordinating career/job fairs, mentoring and coaching recruiters and on-boarders, and delivering employee orientation. 
 
Other Duties & Functions:            
Back up other recruiters and Director, preparing interview packets, orientation set up, consulting on job descriptions, education on hiring process, coordinate and present advertising options as needed, represent Premier at various speaking events, and other duties as assigned. 


Education
Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree

  • Area of study or major: Human Resources, Business, Management, Organizational Development or a related field
Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • PHR/SPHR preferred
Experience
  • Minimum Level of Experience Required: 5 - 7 years of job related experience
  • Prior job title or occupational experience: Recruiter
  • Prior specific functional responsibilities: 2 Years of recruitment experience
  • Preferred experience: Healthcare, Taleo, Behavioral interviewing experience preferred. Candidate sourcing and prescreening.
  • Other experience requirements: HRIS Systems
Knowledge/Skills
  • The ability to apply principles, critical thinking, practices, and procedures for recruitment activities.
  • Ability to research and analyze various types of data/information in order to measure and recommend recruitment and retention activities and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of employment law and other government compliance regulations. Microsoft Office, Outlook, ATS systems and familiarity with HRIS systems; picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential/sensitive information.
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues by using judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government law.
  • Must be able to organize, multi-task and prioritize work; uses time effectively and efficiently; can attend to a broader range of activities.
  • Ability to provide vision and leadership within the Human Resources division as well as within external customer groups.
  • Ability to mentor and grow team members.
  • Must be knowledgeable about how assigned clinical, technical and business departments work.
  • Must be able to produce clear and succinct written and oral communication in a timely manner.
  • Solves problems with peers, and is cooperative, collaborative, and a team player.
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers, has the ability to act with customers in mind.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills; is effective in a variety of formal presentations; is effective both inside and outside of the organization. Experience with behavioral interviewing preferred
